This page is about my 18 month stint as a stand-up comedienne...
I started out in this area while I was working on Hospital Radio and Virgin Radio. I went on a Stand-Up comedy course at my local arts centre, The Tom Allen Centre, in Stratford, East London.
Here, I was taught various techniques... from joke structure and performance, to how to use a microphone.
It was run by a company called Zoom Vision and tutors included many comedians that are around and about on the circuit such as Rudy Lickwood.
I originally went on the course to learn how to think on my feet, but I got more than I bargained for!

Other people that were on my course have gone on work as professional comedians such as Jeff Davis, or as he's known on the stage, Jeff Innocent. Jeff had his T.V debut on the BBC's Stand-Up Show here in Britain in early February, 2000. He will definitely go on to great things!
