Zakynthos has 6 main resorts that cater for Holiday-makers. Each one provides a different pace and lifestyle.

Kalamaki is a resort with a laid-back feel. It's Ideal for families and couples & it's not too far from Laganas which is the party capital of the island. If you like clubbing, this is the place to go. Tsilivi is on the eastern side of the Island. There's a reasonable nightlife here, but it tends to attract the more middle-aged holiday-maker. Argassi is a toned-down Laganas, thus appealing to both couples and youngsters. Great for families with teenaged children. Vassilikos is on the southern-most tip of the Eastern side. It is extremely quiet and secluded. Beautiful scenery in majestic hills makes it a must if you want a relaxing time & Alikes/Alikanas are two resorts very close to each other a bit further above Tsilivi. It is great for older couples, as the terrain is flat & the nightlife is there, but not overwhelming. Also, take a look at other interesting places to visit around the Island out of the resorts.
